Understand the Israeli-USA Death Throes so as to Stop the Genocide Now – Blog No 74

Each of the 73 previous blogs marks a landmark in this Israeli-USA increasingly cruel genocide. When will we reach the worst? Worst, it seems, there is none! How can Israeli and American society tolerate their soldiers and their arms obliterating Palestine? How can we in Mauritius tolerate this without cutting diplomatic ties altogether with Israeli? How can we put up with a UK-USA military base on the land we are democratically responsible for, Diego Garcia? How can we let the US move a nuclear submarine to Diego recently as made public on 1 August*. How can we watch the USA building a new military base-like Embassy in Moka, while the US actively supports Israel’s genocide?
Each of the previous blogs also gives guidance as to what we can do, ourselves as associations or political parties, and what we can make our Government political parties that control foreign policy do to help stop the genocide. We, the people of the whole wide world, are slowly gaining ground against the Israeli-US-UK alliance, but not fast enough to save the people of Palestine from this unbearable, intentional annihilation. So, we must press on to change the balance of forces against the alliance.
This blog today will dig into the nature of the death throes of the present Israeli Jewish State and the death throes of the USA as world hegemon. We must all, including you and me, understand both of these related phenomena because this can guide us on how to stop the Israeli-US genocide. Of all the things we can do, which should we do? It is important also because this is NOT the time for Ramgoolam to go tie ourselves or our country to these bandit States – not just for geopolitical and moral reasons, deep and vital as they are, but even for ordinary expediency, for god’s sake.
The Ramgoolam-Bérenger-Subron-Duval Government seems bent on roping our country, for reasons of supposed “expediency”, in particular for economic expediency, meaning “blood-money” for Diego, ever-tighter to the falling American Empire. Ramgoolam is doing this, even as the Trump-led Empire flays around and falls apart like Roman Emperor Caligula did 2000 years ago. Why should we go down with the falling modern-day Caligula Empire?
The new Mauritian Government is even refusing to continue isolating Israel, even as the Israeli State implodes under Netanyahu, Ben G’vir and Bezalel Smotrich, at least in the way the previous Mauritian Government, in fact, did when, for example, it gave oral submissions in the ICJ case that last year found Israel’s occupation of Palestine illegal. Quite the contrary, Ramgoolam withdrew Mauritius from the list of countries that had committed to oral submissions in the more recent ICJ case against Israel for starving the Palestinians by blocking aid. Looking further back, Ramgoolam himself in 2009, when he was in power suspended all diplomatic relations with Israel, and was praised for it, in a previous Israeli round of murdering the Palestinians in Gaza. Why not now, when Israel does a million times worse things? And before that, his father, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, as Prime Minister at the time, cut diplomatic ties with Israel in 1976. So, why is Ramgoolam now selling out this way? He must explain this change in his politics to us.
So, this is what we have to do: force Ramgoolam to isolate Israel completely, and to be as independent as possible of the USA and its European lackeys and Arab dictatorship allies.
The times are changing. We know it. But, Ramgoolam is oblivious to this. He seems to be oblivious to many things since his serious, life-threatening bout of Covid. We, however, must make him come to his senses. He and his Government must see reason. History will judge them as genocide enablers if they do not act against Israel and the UK-USA alliance. And in addition, Ramgoolam will bring economic ruin upon the country, if he continues to rope Mauritius to this falling US Empire. Falling empires are dangerous things. Avoid them as far as possible!
Part I: Understanding the Dangers of Falling Empires
Right now French President Macron and the Saudi Arabian Prince Mohamed Bin Salman (MBS) have launched a joint proposal – a kind of “Plan B” for ending the genocide because they see clear-as-day the Israeli-USA “Plan A” failing, along with the fall of both the Israeli State and the USA Empire. All the allies of Israel and the USA, close allies and vague allies, are abandoning the Israel-USA stand. Can Ramgoolam not see that? They do it not for any principled reason, but to try too little and too late to seem to be doing something to stop the genocide. They now publicly oppose the Israeli-USA alliance, for the first time ever.
Yes, we live in tumultuous times.
So, at the UN, in the presence of the Secretary General, we see Macron, the little Napoleonic emperor of France holding hands with MBS, the Saudi Arabian Kingdom’s Crown Prince best known as “chopper into pieces of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi and disposer of his body”. These two self-appointed leaders publish a shoddily drafted “joint statement” purporting to speak in the name of all sorts of other countries. The two emperors state that they are presenting this Plan B of theirs “in association with the chairs of the working groups”, which they list after mentioning this, though the list does not read like “working groups”, but rather like an assortment of unlike objects.** Do these “in association” countries agree to this Macron-MBS Bantustan proposal? Like the one the Apartheid regime tried out in its death throes? Have they even thought through what they are “associated” with? Or are these countries just so desperate not to go down in history as colluders with the Israeli genocide that they have allowed themselves to be frog-marched into being “associated with”, something hard to believe they would sign up to? A Bantustan for Palestinians within an Israeli nuclear-armed State controlling them?
Do the other countries “in association” agree that the Palestine Authority, that discredited little band of sell-outs of the Palestinian resistance struggle that act like Israeli proxies, should take over just like that? And that Palestine “must be under the sole authority of the Palestinian Authority”, as the document specifies? Just as Kaiser Matanzima’s “Authority” was supposed to be in 1976 in the Transkei Bantustan in Apartheid South Africa under John Vorster? Do all these countries that the two emperors claim are “in association” with them just throw overboard the joint statement made in Beijing on 23 July last year that unites all 14 organizations of the Palestinian resistance against Israeli colonization, and that collectively could lead to a transitional government and organize elections? Who do Macron and MBS think they are to substitute themselves for the totality of the Palestinian resistance movement?
Israel and the USA have turned this Plan B down point blank, anyway.
Israel and the USA could have been counted on to do so.
So, was it, is it, just a “phantom Plan B”, after all? A Plan B never intended to be anything else except a face-saving set of verbal games for the European leaders and Arab dictatorships to hoodwink their own people with?
It is important, this initiative, in that it means that the little Napoleon and the Crown Prince killer, for all their apparent power, are forced to play the role of rats as the Israel-USA ship, Plan A, is sinking.
“Plan A” is for Israel and the USA, jointly, to bomb, shell, snipe to death, and simultaneously, to starve to death all Palestinian civilians, and to annihilate all signs of human society, culture and sustenance, from agriculture to peoples’ houses, from hospitals to roads, from archives to restaurants, from schools to museums, from the waste water system to the Gaza Zoo, from children’s playgrounds to clean water distribution and storage systems. The lot. So as to drive out those Palestinians that survive. Preferably into the Sinai Desert in Egypt. Thereby, Netanyahu gets to get the land, and Trump gets to get the real estate contract to build the Gaza Riviera and sell it to the Oligarchs of the likes of the late Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring.
They pretend that the very land of Gaza would forget what it had witnessed. As though it could forget. As though the land would not enter the dreams of those living there, for generations afterwards, and turn these dreams forever after into nightmares as bad as the living hell that Israel perpetrates against the people of Palestine there today. Land has a memory in humans, collectively. For example, you can notice that, until today, in Port Louis, there is a public garden that people instinctively and unconsciously shun: there were the public executions of enslaved people held there under French rule 200 years ago. When you go past, however often, you are left with a hollow feeling in your chest. And you don’t even know why. The land reminds your heart directly. You pick up the feeling of desolation, handed down in quick glances, averted paths, and slow sighs over generations.
For Plan A to proceed, whenever the outcry from the outraged population of the entire mother earth gets out of hand, the USA-Israel let a trickle of aid in. Right now, in this phase of their ungodly madness, they get their Gaza Humanitarian Foundation to set a kind of trap with food in it, and when young men walk miles to get there in the hope of a bit of food for their families, as they approach to join the scrum to get a square box of noodles and things, the Israeli snipers kill them. On purpose. Some days they aim at the head of young men. Other days at their chests. Other days still at their testicles. Sometimes from tanks they shell them. On occasion they drop bombs on them. Even as skeletal children sicken and die of starvation. So as well as their weakest children dying of starvation, their families have to bury them, the young men who strive to keep their families alive.
It was these sights, seen live on our screens, and the outcry from the broad masses of people in France and Arabia, that prompted Macron and MBS to present their Plan B, a kind of black comedy, a “good cop, bad cop” bit of film. Their main aim is clearly to disculpate themselves. This is an impossible task, simply because they are culpable. They are partners in the Israeli genocide. They did not ever close their Israeli embassies, cut off any trade, nor offer a single jet fighter to impose a no-fly zone over Palestine on Israel. Their secondary aim is a fall-back plan, to set up a Bantustan, Plan B for Bantustan. Another doomed plan.
With Plan A and Plan B doomed, Israel becomes a failed State. It never had borders, nor a clear definition of its population, so in a way it never was a State. It was indeed an “entity” all along. A colonial entity of the West. To control the routes of “their” petrol. And now Netanyahu is out-of-control. The Frankenstein the West created is now a monster. Doomed, Israel is. The Israeli monster is proud of having used perfidy and terrorism to mete out terrorist assassinations against Hezbollah as punishment in exchange for their support of the people of Palestine. Israel is proud to have got a pro-Western government set up in the Lebanon, even as Israel goes on occupying and even bombing the Lebanon. It is proud of having got the USA to launch its Sycamore Tree strategy which finally led to the overthrow of the Al Assad regime, and the installing of the former ISIS terrorist as leader of Syria, even as Israel goes on bombing Syria at will and occupying more of its land.
But pride comes before a fall.
And, Israeli soldiers are not soldiers but slaughterers of children. Those amongst them with a vestigial conscience develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Others refuse to go back to reserve duty. Too many young men cannot live with the guilt. They commit suicide. This army cannot win against Hamas, though Hamas has not one single airplane, not even a tank. This army cannot prevent the Houthis in Yemen from barring ships from serving the Israeli genocide. This army can no longer defend against Iranian missiles. Its military installations took a beating in the 12-day war, when Israel attacked Iran and then begged the USA to end the war for it. Citizens leave Israel in droves. The economy is in ruins. The ports hardly operate. Supply lines are interrupted. But, what is truly fatal is something else. Israel is discredited. It is a pariah state. It has acted in a way that has destroyed itself and its future.
With Plan A and Plan B doomed, this also means the slow collapse of the US empire now quickens, accelerates. The biggest empire the world has ever known is now in free fall:
- The USA is bankrupt already.
- The dollar is losing its already illegitimate role, as the means of hiding its bankruptcy even as it worsens.
- The USA is in military over-reach: it cannot fight Russia or Iran or China and be sure to win, let alone all three at once.
- The USA is destroying any democracy it ever had. It is now ruled by capitalist lobbies of all ilk – big data, big pharma, the armaments lobby, the oil lobby, and all these are masterminded by the pro-Israel lobby, which has a big social base of Christian Zionists, of the Joshua Ministries ilk, and a smaller social base of Jewish Zionists.
- The USA is destroying its own federal civil service.
- The USA becomes more repressive every day.
- The USA’s leadership becomes more unstable, more unhinged by the hour.
- The USA, like Israel, is putting itself into a corner that only auto-destruction, perhaps of the whole world, is its only option: a nuclear holocaust looms.
Unhinged Debauchery
The image of the falling Roman Empire that has remained symbolic until today is that of the debauchery and impunity of Emperor Caligula, although his reign was centuries before that Empire actually collapsed. It is as though the USA lives in such times today, only with everything accelerated. Centuries are now months, decades days, days hours, hours minutes and even minutes seconds.
Right now, one giant mega-scandal threatens to link all the issues that dog the USA and Israel and the UK into one big fire-storm: the Jeffrey Epstein sex-trafficking ring and its political and secret service ramifications is being exposed, in particular to Trump’s social base. What was it, this sex trafficking ring?
1. It was a cabal of the American super-rich oligarchs, political leaders and celebrities, held together by a social life of debauchery. The cabal trafficked thousands of young women and, importantly, hundreds of young school girls, underage, some as young as 12. This was from 2002 for some 15 years. It took place in Epstein mansions in New York City, on Caribbean islands he owns, on a ranch in New Mexico, in London and in Paris, and on airplanes.
2. Because the ring included illegal and abhorrent practices – Epstein even jailed for a year and his partner in crime and in life Ghislaine Maxwell jailed for 20 years – it seems to have been used as a basis for an extortion and blackmail racket of immense proportions.
3. There are secret service links, too, to the Israeli secret services Mossad, the American secret services and the British MI-6.
4. There are links to top American politicians, including Donald Trump. (As well as Bill Clinton and other politicians, celebrities, British royalty, four Israeli Prime Ministers, one visiting Epstein’s notorious island more than 30 times.)
Trump Links
- Trump and Epstein were best friends for 10-15 years. So US President Trump knew a lot. He expresses no regret, nor sympathy to the hundreds of young girls abused by his circle of friends.
- Trump seems to have met Melania, his wife, through Epstein. Of itself, this means little, but it could upset Donald Trump.
- Trump’s women and girl workers at his Mar-o-lago Spa ended up as Epstein’s employees. Trump recently said, “Epstein stole them”, in his slave-owner-talk. This link would not be good, to put it mildly, if systematic.
- Trump promised his base that he would release all the Epstein files and film, but has suddenly refused.
- Trump’s Make America Great Again social base is turning against him over this. The school girl victims are in the social class of this Trump base. They are often poor, white, working class girls. Trump’s base is hurt, and furious.
- Trump last week began preparing a deal of some kind with sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell in her jail cell.
This kind of political crisis could risk making someone as unstable as Donald Trump lash out in ways that further accelerate the fall of the American Empire. If the secret services of Israel are fully involved in this racket, they, too, will accelerate their own destructive lashing out. Worse still, either of these lunatics at the helm of disintegrating entities, could kill us all in a nuclear Armageddon.
The stakes are high. Suspicious suicides are frequent: Jeffrey Epstein himself died in inexplicable circumstances; Robert Maxwell, father of Ghislaine and Israeli eminence grise, was found floating in the sea near his yacht; Jean-Luc Brunel, model agency pimp in partnership with Epstein hanged himself in jail in France; Bill Clinton’s advisor Mark Middleton, who got Epstein to visit the White House, hanged himself; Thomas Bowers, a Deutsche Bank executive, hanged himself after the Bank had to pay out enormous sums of money to victims of Epstein. Earlier this year, the brave victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre is said to have committed suicide in Australia.
This now unraveled cabal, as it is exposed in public, fuels the auto-destruction of the USA’s world Empire, and the Israeli control of the Middle East.
Part II: What Should We Do? What should we Make the Government Do?
We need to understand so that when we act, we act wisely. We need to act, and to act so as to get our Government to act. Everyone’s actions count. Every country’s actions count.
So, what we need from the Ramgoolam Government now is:
- ISOLATE ISRAEL AT ONCE!
- Mauritius must join in the South Africa genocide case against Israel at the ICJ!
- Keep at arm’s length from the falling US Empire!
This is what we must do.
