Genocide Blog 40 – Using “Timing” while Supporting Netanyahu Genocide and IDF Bellicose Acts

Sometimes the mind boggles. Even as we watch Israel continue its slaughter, its massacres, its intentional starvation of the people of Gaza, we have to expose the little tricks of Israel and the USA. Especially the tricks of USA, which is now the main cause of the continuation of the genocide against Palestine. So let us look as little tricks of “timing” that Biden and Netanyahu use.

We saw how Israel timed its sham claims designed to disable UNRWA, the very organization that feeds the starving Palestinians in Gaza, even while worsening the starvation. As the ICJ judgment against Israel for “plausible genocide” was delivered on 26 January, when the world’s attention was on Israel’s perpetration of genocide, Israel at once, the same day, announced invented allegations against UNRWA. 

This way Biden’s brash judgment branding the South African case against Israel as “unfounded”, and Israel’s guilt of the crime of crimes, never really got exposed properly on the Western TV channels and newspapers, like CNN and BBC, like The New York Times and Washington Post. Israel is plausibly guilty of genocide. Biden is definitely a fool, therefore, for saying the case against Israel was “unfounded”. Even the American judge in the ICJ called Israel’s actions “plausible genocide” and told the IDF to stop killing and maiming children and to stop destroying the basis for life in Gaza. So Biden’s judgment that the case is “unfounded” was, and still is, complete trash. And speaking trash about genocide is complicity. So, there are two guilty parties, Netanyahu and Biden. The USA’s cutting funding to UNRWA, worse still, causes the genocide, itself, to worsen. But, the news media meanwhile had a flimsy pretext to move on to other subjects, instead, like to whether Israel’s gratuitous, outrageous, lying allegations against a handful of UNRWA’s workers were founded or not. Biden never said the Israeli lies were “unfounded”, even though they were. Biden said the genocide case was “unfounded” even though all those 15 judges said it was “plausible”, the very opposite of “unfounded”. “Plausible” means there is, in fact, a prima facie case. “Unfounded” means there is not. So Biden is either a dunce or a genocide perpetrator. Choose.

And this morning, I wake up to hear that Biden has had, once again, 13 years after saying it would soon agree, gone through the ignominy of having to veto a Security Council Resolution to recognize the “state of Palestine”. This is the same man who, in words, mouths support for a 2-state solution. So, again, is he a dunce or a genocide perpetrator? His actions, like this veto, once again, bring support to Israel, even as it commits “plausible genocide”. Israel is against the 2-state solution that Biden, Israel’s prime backer, espouses. So, Biden’s actions support Israel. Not only that, but the USA times its announcement of Israel’s long-awaited strike against Iran to divert attention from the USA’s own ignominy at the UN body. Again, Biden is effectively contributing by the action of his veto, meanwhile, to the continuation of the genocide. Biden refuses to recognize the “state of Palestine”, which refusal is the root of the conflict. Its colonial root. The Palestinians who lived in all of Palestine have been, and are still being, made refugees in their own country by a settler, colonial, Zionist project. Biden thus refuses to recognize a state of Palestine, uses his veto and thus belies his support of a 2-state solution.

Then, when caught red-handed, he changes the subject away from this. He gets Israel to go bomb Isfahan a couple of hours after his UN veto.

And he and Israel do this at the risk of detonating a world war.

And the people of Palestine see the Israeli state encroaching ever-further on to their land in the West Bank, taking Palestinian hostages by the thousand, just grabbing them and locking them up in Israeli jails without so much as a court case or even a charge. The Western media does not even call them “hostages”. While the Palestinians of Gaza are treated as if they are not human beings at all. In full view of the peoples of the world. And this is why even the people of America are against this genocide. They defy their Democrat and Republican leaders and the whole of the US media.

Is Biden committing political suicide? Or is the world tipping into fascism, even as we watch?

All depends upon us all.
