Two Imperial Wars, NATO v/s Ukraine and USA-Israel v/s Iran, Exposed as One

The funeral of the ultra-imperialist, extreme right-wing, cold-hearted US Senator Lindsey Graham was held a few days ago in Washington DC. There were only two important international attenders: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Who else would want to be associated with this politician’s long history of cruelty, cynicism and supremacist views?
But the presence of these two – Netanyahu and Zelensky together at the arch-imperialist’s funeral – is one of those facts that represents a kind epiphany, or sudden and illuminating understanding of something. This is what we see: the two of them are both part of the same war, not in two different wars. Their roles are not that different either.
Both Israel and Ukraine are, at one and the same time, each acting like a biting head of the many-headed Western Empire, each being used as such against one of the West’s “enemies”, Israel against Iran on behalf of the USA, Ukraine against Russia on behalf of NATO. And, at the same time, both disguise themselves as being merely “parasites” that are ever-so-clever at manipulating their respective hosts, the USA and NATO, which are one large conglomerate as it turns out, and they do this manipulating so that they get their hands on more and more armaments and other military accoutrement from their respective hosts so that they can, in turn, go on being head of state during a never-ending war that they cannot win alone and which, when it ends, will find them in prison.
As if to prove their unification in the same war, on the day of the funeral, it was just three days 25 July when Zelensky had proudly announced that Ukraine had attacked an Iranian commercial ship in the Caspian Sea, which it did do, effectively joining the two imperialist wars. Ukraine killed a civilian Iranian sailor.
Both Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes, and Zelensky, leader in power in the wake of the USA-led coup-d’etat of 2014, by showing up at the funeral together, and speaking to each other there, showed the world that the two imperialist wars are joined. This exposes what “oil” has already exposed to us: the control of the flow of the commodity of “oil” joins these two wars, and joins both to the USA coup d’etat in Venezuela.
As in all crises, the partitions that separate different aspects of our lives tend to collapse, and allow us to see outside the boxes we usually see things in. So, their presence together, Netanyahu and Zelensky, at the Graham funeral was a silver lining in a dark cloud of the wars of a dying Western Empire, as they widen in scope.
